Yesha Sagar, the model-turned-sports presenter, is all set to host the upcoming Uttar Pradesh (UP) Premier League for season three. The tournament's official Instagram page shared the news to its fans and followers. Yesha, who shot into prominence during the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), is all set to bring her charm and charisma for season three of the UP T20 League.

For the unversed, Yesha was associated with the BPL franchise Chittagong Kings for the 2025 season before  withdrawing from the T20 League after receiving legal notice from the Kings team. According to reports, Samir Kader Chowdhury, who is the owner of the Chittagong Kings, sent a legal notice to Yesha, stating:

As per clause 9 of the contract, you (Yesha) have failed to perform your duties and did not attend the dinner with the sponsors despite being officially invited. You also did not complete the sponsors’ shoot and promotional shout-out. Your absence has caused financial and reputational damage to the franchise (Chittagong Kings).”

Know about Yesha Sagar's journey

Before venturing into the sports field, the model-turned-presenter was a prominent name in the modelling & fitness industry. Born in December 14, 1996, in Ludhiana, Punjab, her parents are quite low profile when compared to their daughter, Yesha. The presenter also loves to play basketball and is a huge fan of Punjabi singers Sidhu Moosewala and Diljit Dosanjh. She also completed her graduation before moving to Canada in 2015 for higher studies.

During her post-graduation, Yesha also worked part-time in Popeye's Restaurant. Despite being born in India, the presenter is a Canadian national. After completing her education, she got her first full time job at a company in Mississauga in Canada. For a brief while, the model also ventured into acting in India. Later, she started her sports presenter career and went onto host several T20 Leagues, like Global T20 Canada, UP T20 League, and Bangladesh Premier League. Yesha also has a strong presence on social media, where she has 1.1 M followers on Instagram.

Apart from her sports anchoring career, the model is also a prominent fitness enthusiast and has collaborated with famous companies like Magnum Nutraceuticals, Revive Superfoods, and Precision Nutrition. She has also featured in a Punjabi film, Yaaran Da Rutbaa, in 2023.
